Do you have experience and/or an interest in the management of community-based organisations for young people?

Would you like to gain more experience in governance models that utilise intersectional feminist approaches and collaborative decision making?

Zig Zag provides specialist services for young women and gender diverse young people aged 12-25 years and is managed by a dedicated, skilled, and experienced Management Committee that oversees the governance of the organisation.

Zig Zag are now seeking new volunteer general members for our Management Committee. Please note: nominations for Management Committee Membership are open to women, trans and gender diverse people only.

An information sheet for prospective new members can be viewed here: Prospective New MC Info Sheet 2025 . We would like to invite you to complete and submit an MC Expression of Interest Form 2025 outlining a brief summary of the following:

  • Your interests in joining our Management Committee.
  • Specific areas of knowledge, skills and experience you would bring to this Management Committee role.
  • A willingness and ability to actively participate in the management of Zig Zag utilising collaborative decision making and an intersectional feminist framework.
  • Knowledge and experience of issues affecting young women and gender diverse young people.
  • An ability to commit the time required to undertake this role (minimum 2-3 hour meeting each month and some additional time preparing / reading before meetings).
