Need support? What do I do?

Reach out to us in the way that suits you best! You can:

Please let us know if it’s safe for us to call, text or email you and to share where we are calling from.

Zig Zag is FREE, CONFIDENTIAL and VOLUNTARY!

What happens next?

A support worker from our Intake team will contact you to find out what’s going on and how we can support you. You get to decide what you tell us, and you decide what’s most important for you to work on.

What does support at Zig Zag look like?

Asking for help can be scary and we know folks can feel uncertain about calling a service. We also understand that what feels supportive and helpful for one person, may not work for someone else. So, if you have experienced a sexual assault or are without housing or at risk of homelessness, we will offer you flexibility to be supported in ways that meet your unique and individual needs.

At Zig Zag YOU are at the centre of everything we do! We can:

  • See you in person at our support centres (either Camp Hill, Windsor or Richlands)
  • Meet with you in community or in a place that feels safe and comfortable for you
  • Offer you brief phone support
  • Assist you with practical supports such as attending appointments or connecting with other community supports
  • Help you to advocate for the changes you need in your life
  • Invite you to our group programs and activities
  • Support you with confusing stuff like Centrelink, Department of Housing, Police, Child Safety Services, Court etc.

We’re here to help break the silence.

We’ll listen and provide support.

Learn more about sex, relationships and consent

This resource was created by a group of survivors. Using their wisdom through their own experiences of sexual violence, the group is hoping to increase understanding and raise awareness around consent; particularly to help survivors and those who support them.

Trans and Gender Expansive Group

This group is open to all Trans, Enby and Gender Expansive young people (12-26) who would like to deepen community connection.
