Additional Funding

Zig Zag relies on the generous donations provided by the community to provide direct brokerage support to assist young women and gender diverse young people in areas not covered under funding agreements. This can include supplying basic furnishings and white goods to young homeless women and gender diverse young people and their children when transitioning into independent housing; providing childcare for young people attending group programs and court; educational and skills development costs such as driving lessons; and medical costs not covered by Medicare.

Zig Zag also relies on Community and Government grants to provide technical and practical resources necessary to undertake its work with young people, these have included important IT hardware and software upgrades.
