What even is sex anyway?

Society tells us that sex is a very specific thing… usually penetrative sex, involving a penis and vagina. This limited view of sex excludes queer people, gender diverse people and people who are just not that into that kind of sex!

This is why it’s important to expand our view of sex to be include anything that feels sexual to you and your partner/s.

YES this can include sexual touching, hugging, kissing, oral sex or even talking! Get rid of the idea of “foreplay” – if it feels like sex to you and your partner/s, it counts.

And asking for consent and checking in is important for all these types of sex too!
