Intensive Housing Support Worker

Zig Zag is recruiting for a part time Intensive Housing Support Worker for a 12 month Pilot Project within our Housing Program.  This position is for 45 hours (6 days) / fortnight and is paid at a QCSCA Level 5.  Zig Zag offers above Award employment conditions and salary sacrifice is available. 

The Intensive Housing Support Worker is responsible for the provision of high-quality practical and case management support housing to young women who are transitioning from Zig Zag Supported Accommodation to independent housing, including young pregnant and/or parenting young women.  The Intensive Housing Support Worker will utilize collaborative approaches to improve outcomes for young women who are at high risk of re-entering homelessness, whilst being sensitive to the range of experiences and factors associated with young women and homelessness. The Intensive Housing Support Worker’s role is pivotal in providing high standards of service delivery to young women, with a focus on ethical and respectful practice, confidentiality, accountability, record keeping, data collection, reporting, and evaluation. As this is a pilot project, project management, evaluation and reporting skills are highly desirable.

We are seeking someone with tertiary qualifications in social work and/or the human services and demonstrable experience in case management in the specialist youth or women’s homelessness sector. Zig Zag Young Women’s Resource Centre employs women only (EEO exempt). Administration Worker (Locum)

Zig Zag is recruiting for a part time Administration Officer (locum) for a 12 month period within our Centre Support Team.  This position is for 55 hours (8-10 days / fortnight) and is paid at a QCSCA Level 4.  Zig Zag offers above Award employment conditions and salary sacrifice is available. 

This position is responsible for the overall coordination of the administration functions, and for ensuring that Zig Zag maintains a high standard of accountability and effectiveness in all areas of administration, including reception duties, central filing, correspondence, ordering and distribution of resources and stationery supplies and equipment maintenance.
